This tour has everything. We will explore the caves of both Drogarati and Melissani, places of outstanding natural beauty. Within Melissani cave, based in the village of Karavomylos, boats await to row you around the underground lake. We will continue to the Monastery of Saint Gerasimos, the resting place of the mummified remains of the patron saint of the island. Also, we will taste some of the best wines on the island at the local cooperative. Later, we’ll walk around the castle of Saint George, a fortification on the top of a hill overlooking the valley of Argostoli. We shall also make time for walking and shopping through the streets of Argostoli and a stop at the top of Myrtos Bay.
